Michael’s practice is focused primarily on patent and intellectual property litigation. He has a background in Neuroscience with experience in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. Prior to his legal career, Michael gained experience developing neuro-imaging software while researching neurodegenerative disease in graduate school. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in patent prosecution and gained experience prosecuting various medical device patents.

While attending law school, Michael served as the chief counsel for the SMU Patent Clinic and was a Tsai Scholar for the SMU Tsai Center for Law, Science and Innovation. His interests include playing sports as well as spending time with his wife and two dogs.
